IT IS TURKEY TIME

We approach the Thanksgiving Day, and the American turkey (los pavos) are, as we say here, so pissed off like ours at Christmas. As you have seen in many American films, they are the protagonists of the table.
But, do they come from Spain and brought to America by the conquistadors, or on the contrary come from that continent to Spain? Is it coincidence that Turkey, country, in English, it is the same word that turkey, bird?.
This and more, like its scientific name and way of life, you can find in the links I provide you. Later, tell me the answer in class.
to be pissed off: cabrearse, mosquearse
to approach: acercarse, aproximarse
brought past participle of to bring: Traer
